Worship Resource Directory

Part 1:

You will compile an annotated resource directory outlining and summarizing worship resources identified throughout the course. The directory must be divided into the following categories and include a minimum of 20 entries per category:

  • Worship Administration Resources;
  • Christian Music Publishers;
  • Video Equipment Resources;
  • Audio Equipment Resources;
  • Video Equipment Providers (e.g., backgrounds, mini movies);
  • Orchestral/Worship Band Resources;
  • Video Projection Software;
  • Children’s Music Resources;
  • Student Music Resources;
  • Worship Blogs;
  • Resources for Seasonal Productions; and
  • General Worship Resources.

Throughout the course, many of the resources will be identified through lectures and/or reading. Additional research will be required to identify additional vendors and publishers to complete the directory.

Part 2:

You are required to contact a minimum of 5 publishers to secure preview packets of new materials. These packets will include sample copies of new music and demonstration recordings. These preview packets can be secured by calling or emailing the publisher and requesting a packet for use in this course. Once the packets are received, you must compile a listing of the various materials contained in each packet and then write a 2–3-paragraph summary of how the resources can be used in a local church setting.

The total length of the paper must be 18–20 pages.

Assignment 1: Health Care Human Resources Management

Due Week 4 and worth 240 points

Imagine that you have applied for the position of Manager of Human Resources at an acute care hospital in your community. The hospital is planning to expand its services to meet the needs of a growing community. As part of the application screening process, you have been asked to write a document that outlines the steps you would take, as the manager of HR, to improve the effectiveness of HRM in this organization.

Write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which you:

  1. Analyze two (2) current trends in health care that are affecting human resources management that may likely impact your hiring decision as HR manager. Provide support for your analysis.
  2. Suggest a significant opportunity for HR to become more of a strategic partner within an organization. Justify your response.
  3. Recommend a model of human resources management that would be the most appropriate for this organization in question. Provide support for your recommendation.
  4. Recommend a strategy that HR could implement in order to develop more effective relationships between Human Resources and the organization’s managers and senior executives, indicating how each strategy will achieve the desired goal.
  5. Determine a specific employment law that may affect the hiring and selection process at the acute hospital in your community. Provide support for your rationale.
  6. Use at least three (3) quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not qualify as academic resources.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

  • Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
  • Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.

  • Evaluate the effects of major employment laws on HR functions in health care organizations.

  • Write clearly and concisely about health services human resource management using proper writing mechanics.

Business Policy Development and Implementation

Virtual teams are becoming more common in the business environment; however, most managers have little experience or training in how to direct those teams. Team managers, as well as team members, have specific challenges to address. So how do they do it?

Review the required and recommended readings for the week. Synthesize the information from those sources and create a strategy that you would use as the manager of a virtual team. Consider the variables that can affect a virtual team, such as time zones; language barriers; social, religious, and cultural beliefs; and team diversity. Prepare a substantive response to the following:

Analyze the potential challenges a virtual Capsim team can face. Then, create a strategy for how a team manager can address those challenges using a team charter.

Your discussion posting must be at least 250 words in length, and contain a library-based, scholarly citation and a supporting reference. Use scholarly or peer-reviewed articles and journals.

Short outline (roughly 150 words)

All that is required is a quick 150 word outline. Come up with some sources (in-text citation and reference page, not included in the word count) and topics for each paragraph with headings and whatnot. Do not write the whole essay.

For this exercise, prepare a PowerPoint presentation that serves as your own professional code of communication. This exercise allows you to analyze communication techniques and reflect upon your own communication skills. Include at least the following within the presentation:

Research is over the lived in experience emergency department nurses have experienced when it comes to scanning medications vs not and the effects it has on medication errors. focus is truly on the nurses experiences. Customer Service Assignment

A new company called Business Executive has been in business just one year with miraculous success. Their newest product, a laptop bag that has built in legs and allows the business person to simply unzip the bag and fold down the legs obviously needs some changes. Customer service has been inundated in the last 48 hours since the launch of product 7 on their website. There were presales allowed for priority customers with promised arrival of their new laptop bag and stand on the day of launch in Los Angeles. The customer service analytics started populating from the pacific time zone and rolled out across the world with just a 10-15 minute delay. This company has stores in various major airports throughout the world and a website where their customers are located. Their call centers are located in Los Angeles, CA, Des Moines, IA, Albany, NY, the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Cost Rica, France, Germany, India, Hong Kong, and South Africa.

Follow along with the comic book to see the results of this product launch from the customer service standpoint. After reading the comic book and analyzing the analytics, fill in the comic book using the information from the CSR Tool Belt. Begin interacting with the comic book. When you are ready be sure to choose “submit” in order for your instructor to be able to grade your submission.
