organizational change. If you choose to create a presentation, you may use
PowerPoint, Prezi, or VoiceThread.  Another
option is to create a newsletter or executive summary using Microsoft

Assignment 2: Final Report Due Week 10, worth 200 points

This assignment is aligned to this course outcome: • Apply macroeconomic concepts to current and personal economic events and decisions. In addition to writing about macroeconomic concepts, it’s equally important to be able to convey your understanding of these concepts by communicating them to others. In the workplace you might do this by writing briefs (like you did for Assignment 1), creating presentations, or writing reports for your manager or team. This Final Report assignment will be a Word document (approximately 3 pages) that builds off your previous Economic Brief and selected industry.

For this assignment, you’ll examine at least one of the macroeconomic indicators or policies below within the context of the industry you have previously selected. • GDP growth • Unemployment rates • Inflation rates • Interest rates • International trade policy and issues related to trade balances, trade restrictions, etc. • Government fiscal policy and issues related to taxation, government spending, and budget deficits • FED (central bank) monetary policy and issues related to the FED’s mission to stabilize the economy Macroeconomic Resources for Industry and Economy These resources are available to help you find the size and growth rate of your industry in the U.S. economy and/or relative to GDP: • Real GDP – Click on Section 1, then table 1.1.6 (click on MODIFY to change the year range and frequency). Preparation 1. To begin this assignment, recall the industry you selected in Assignment 1. 2. Use the industry GDP resources above to assess the size and growth rate of this industry. 3. Next, identify a newsworthy macroeconomic indicator or policy that may impact your selected industry. Use the macroeconomic resources above to find patterns and trends. 4. It will also be important to review relevant chapters from The Little Book of Economics, the OpenStax: Principles of Macroeconomics chapter readings, and your prior discussion board questions and responses. Instructions Prepare a Final Report that is approximately two to three (2-3) pages long in which you: 1. Assess your selected industry’s relative size and growth rate in the economy. 2. Identify at least one newsworthy macroeconomic indicator or policy that is important for the industry to monitor, e.g., GDP, unemployment, inflation rates, interest rates, trade policy, government taxation and spending decisions, and/or FED decisions. 3. Explain why this macroeconomic indicator or policy is important and how it may impact your selected industry. 4. Describe a recent trend in the macroeconomic indicator or policy. Include a graph, chart, or table that illustrates the observed trend. 5. Conclude with a forecast for the industry based on whether the trend identified in part 4 is expected to continue. Provide support for your conclusion. 6. This course requires use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS). The format is different compared to other Strayer University courses. Please take a moment to review the SWS documentation for details. Identify and Prioritize Risk Factors

Identify and Prioritize Risk Factors

Learning Objective: Use risk management techniques to identify and prioritize risk factors for information assets.

Assignment Requirements

The Mesusa Corporation has three information assets (below) to evaluate for risk management as listed below. Create a ranked list of risks associated with the four vulnerabilities. You can begin with the columns from the Ranked Vulnerability Risk worksheet (Asset, Impact, Vulnerability, Likelihood), determine the risk rating, then include percentage of current control and the uncertainty rate to come up with a final risk -rating estimate. Use the formula as described in this chapter. From your results, determine in what order the vulnerabilities be evaluated for additional controls. Include your worksheet and interpretation of the results.

Switch L47 connects a network to the Internet. It has two vulnerabilities; (1) susceptibility to hardware failure, with the likelihood of 0.2, and (2) susceptibility to an SNMP buffer overflow attack, with a likelihood of 0.1. This switch has an impact rating of 90 and has no current controls in place. There is a 75% certainty of the assumptions and data.

Server WebSrv6 hosts a company Web site and performs e-commerce transactions. It has Web server software that is vulnerable to attack via invalid Unicode values. The likelihood of such and attack is estimated at 0.2. The server has been assigned an impact value of 100, and a control has been implemented that reduces the impact of vulnerability by 75%. There is an 80% certainty of the assumptions and data.

Operators use the MGMT45 control console to monitor operations in the server room. It has no passwords and is susceptible to unlogged misuse by the operators. Estimates show the likelihood of misuse is 0.1. There are no controls in place on this asset, which has an impact rating of 5. There is a 90% certainty of the assumptions and data.

ethical dilemma, psychology homework help

Ethics are fundamental to any profession. In this Discussion, you will explore one of the greatest ethical dilemmas faced in behavior analysis—the use of aversives in the treatment of children engaging in self-injurious behavior (SIB). While there is research to support the efficacy of aversive treatment with some children with SIBs, some states outlaw their use, and many question whether it is ever an ethical approach.

To prepare:

  • Review the readings and weekly video introduction to gain an understanding of ethical codes and aspects of those codes relevant to the use of aversive techniques.
  • Search the Internet and available literature for research on the efficacy of using aversives in the treatment of SIB, as well as ethical concerns and arguments professionals and laypeople make regarding their use.
  • Evaluate the pluses and minuses of using aversives in the treatment of severe SIB in children with autism or developmental disabilities.

Self-injurious behavior (SIB) occurs most frequently among persons with severe intellectual disability (ID) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Please read the following scenario:

You are working as a behavior analyst and are referred a seven-year-old boy with ASD (Level 3 severity), who is engaging in repetitive head banging to the point where he has required medical treatment.

Post by Day 3: Explain whether you believe aversives should be used in the treatment of SIB. Justify your rationale by explaining ethical issues regarding the use of a behavior management approach that includes aversives. Cite specific aspects of ethical codes (e.g., ABAI, APA) in justifying your conclusion as to the use of aversives in the treatment of SIB.
