VOIP(voice over IP) project this is the tech I choice I need it done in 2 weeks

Objectives

The objective of this project is to develop a research paper on an area of emerging technology. Approach the project as if you were recommending technology implementation initiatives to your corporation’s technology planning committee. The analysis will have two sections.

  1. First, examine the view that suggests that the technology you choose is a good emerging technology. Then, discuss the implications for stakeholders (implications for the corporation, such as cost/benefit analysis); integration considerations; the impact on the company’s employees; and operational concerns (i.e., increased productivity/efficiency, short-term challenges versus long-term benefits) for management, technical staff, nontechnical staff, the company’s customers and clients, and other business partners of your selected corporation.
  2. Second, contrast and compare the benefits of the emerging technology you chose with past successful or unsuccessful telecommunications technologies you have in place. To what extent should the corporation change its technology foundation? Include current information on how the technology works. If you believe this is the best choice for the corporation, provide your rationale. Please examine and discuss each element of this objective.

Any questions about this paper may be discussed in the weekly Q & A Discussion topic.

Guidelines

Week 5 – Final Paper

Final Paper

Focus of the Final PaperWrite a five-to seven-page financial statement analysis of a public company, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.  In this analysis you will discuss the financial health of this company with the ultimate goal of making a recommendation to other investors.  Your paper should consist of the following sections: introduction, company overview, horizontal analysis, ratio analysis, final recommendation, and conclusions.  Your paper needs to include a minimum of two scholarly resources in addition to the textbook as references.

Here is a breakdown of the sections within the body of the assignment:

Company Overview
Provide a brief overview of your company (one to two paragraphs at most).  What industry is it in?  What are its main products or services?  Who are its competitors?

Horizontal Analysis of Income Statement and Balance Sheet

Prepare a three-year horizontal analysis of the income statement and balance sheet of your selected company.  Discuss the importance and meaning of horizontal analysis.  Discuss both the positive and negative trends presented in your company.

Ratio Analysis
Calculate the current ratio, quick ratio, cash to current liabilities ratio, over a two-year period.  Discuss and interpret the ratios that you calculated.  Discuss potential liquidity issues based on your calculations of the current and quick ratios.  Are there any factors that could be erroneously influencing the results of the ratios?  Discuss liquidity issues of competitive companies within the same industry.

Recommendation
Based on your analysis would you recommend an individual invest in this company?  What strengths do you see?  What risks do you see?  It is perfectly acceptable to state that you would recommend avoiding this company as long as you provide support for your position.

Writing the Final Paper
1. Must be five to seven double-spaced pages in length, and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
2. Must include a title page with the following:

a. Title of paper
b. Student’s name
c. Course name and number
d. Instructor’s name
e. Date submitted3. Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.
4. Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.
5. Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
6. Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
7. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

Classic Fairy tales encountered in daily life( in TV, Newspaper, books, etc)

Tracking Fairy Tales

Due 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 2. Upload ONE .doc or similar file to canvas with compiled documents describing adaptations AND log of fairy tale references. Minimum word count of adaptation = 250 words x group members. One grade will be assigned to entire group. Worth 10% of total grade.

Tl;dr version:

1) As individuals, keep a log of all (or as many as possible) references to fairy tales that you encounter on a daily basis. Routinely upload those to a shared google doc (and include link in assignment submission).

2) As a group, select a fairy tale (or fairy tale type) and as individuals search for and list of at least 10 contemporary adaptations; each group member describes one adaptation in-depth in ca. 250 words.

Instructions:

Maria Tartar’s Classic Fairy Tales collects a variety of different adaptions for well-known fairy tales such as Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast. The examples (e.g. Angela Carter) are mainly limited to written adaptations, but, as we’ve already recognized, fairy tales and their particular plot elements are not restricted to written narratives, and instead can be found in contemporary TV shows (Once Upon a Time, Grimm etc.), graphic novels, animated films, and even augmented reality apps.

As a group, you will select a particular fairy tale (such as Cinderella, or Hansel and Gretel) or fairy tale type (e.g. Fairy Tale Type 327, The Children and the Ogre) and compile a list of recent adaptations, of which at least 50% should be outside of the literary sphere. Your list should contain at least ten adaptations and it should offer an in-depth description of as many adaptations as you have group members.

Next, each of you will select one adaptation to describe. As a group you might want to coordinate and decide what elements of the adaptation each person will describe. Suggestions include describing the adaptation’s plot differences to the adapted version, commenting on elements that are implemented positively or negatively, discussing how the “original” fairy tale has been creatively reclaimed or subverted.

Each description of an adaption should contain ca. 250 words. If you decide to include a TV show and/or series, please refer to a single episode rather than the TV show/series as a whole. Please also provide us with a reference, how we can find/access the adaptions you found.

Note that the final course assignment will be a creative adaptation. When selecting a tale for this assignment, you might consider a fairy tale that you would be interested in adapting, reclaiming, etc.

Respond to any of my(professor’s) notes, the textbook or the videos in the “Chapter 8–Christianity”

TEXTBOOK: Smith The World’s Religions (50th anniversary edition) isbn #978006166018

Professor notes:

* Christianity is the second of the western, or Abrahamic faiths, that we will study. These religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are cousins who all claim to have inherited the covenant promises made to Abraham–a major character in the book of Genesis. Since Jesus was Jewish and descended from Abraham, Christians feel themselves inheritors of the covenant promised God had made to Abraham.

*Christianity centers on the belief that the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament came in the person of Jesus. As we saw last week, Jesus was Jewish, as were his earliest followers. However, the New Testament shows that the faith quickly expanded to welcome non-Jews into the religion (this was not without controversy, as we see in debates in the book of Acts. Some early Christians felt converts needed to follow all the commandments of Judaism, but they were eventually overruled by those who said this was not necessary).

* The story of Jesus himself is told in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), which detail his life and ministry. These are not actual biographies but stories that focus on key aspects of his story.

* Two of the gospels (Matthew and Luke) contain stories of Jesus’ birth and two do not. With Jesus, we have another miracle birth story…specifically, his conception taking place by the Holy Spirit. Both Mary and Joseph, his parents, are informed of this miraculous conception by angels on separate occasions.

* All four gospels focus primarily on his ministry, which begins around age 30 and ends at his execution around age 33.

* Jesus and his fellow Jews lived under Roman occupation. Rome was the world superpower of the time and was known to bring peace to conquered territories by force. Jesus was a peasant like the majority of his fellow Jews, and lived in Nazareth…far from the capital city of Jerusalem.

* Our textbook divides Jesus’ ministry into two parts: What he did—performing miracles and challenging authority by his behavior (it is important to note that almost everything Jesus did was scandalous–interacting with women and the outcasts of society, arguing with religious leaders). What he said— we have very little of the words of Jesus recorded in the gospels, but what we have shows a deeply spiritual and mysterious person. He often spoke in parables, he frequently answered a question with a question, and contradicts himself at times (this is not his fault, as he did not write the scriptures himself). Like his actions, his words challenged authority—“the last shall be first,” “the meek will inherit the earth,” “whoever does not hate father and mother…cannot be my disciple.”

* Modern scholars of the historical Jesus see him as someone doing his best to challenge an unfair and unjust system, and this is what brought him before the Roman authorities and led to his execution by crucifixion. After his death, the gospels tell of his resurrection from the dead.

* Christianity came to see Jesus as the son of God. It is important to note that Caesar Augustus, the Roman Emperor at the time Jesus was born, was also viewed as the son of God (he had been adopted by Julius Caesar, who was proclaimed a deity after his execution). This fact adds more intrigue and depth to the followers of Jesus, who were offering a much different path to peace in their son of God than the peace by force which Rome offered the world.

* The Roman Empire allowed a number of religions to exist (including Judaism), and the new Christian religion was yet another that people could follow. However, it was expected that citizens would worship the Roman state gods along with any other god they chose, for the Roman gods had blessed the empire and to ignore them was both an act of political subversion, and an action that could bring disastrous results by incurring the wrath of the gods. Christians typically refused to worship these state gods, and thus were increasingly seen as subversive. That said, persecution of Christians was sporadic for nearly 300 years— For nearly 300 years, depending on the Emperor at the time. This changed under Emperor Constantine, who converted to Christianity in the early 300’s and made the faith much more acceptable.

* Constantine also called for a church council at the city of Nicea, to determine exactly what Christians believed. Since Jesus was Jewish and spoke so mysteriously, early believers had many different opinions about who Jesus was and who God was. The council affirmed some key concepts-Jesus had died on the cross, and his death was necessary for the Atonement of people’s sins. Despite being killed, Jesus came back to life with his Resurrection, which is available to all believers in him. Jesus himself was declared to be fully human and fully God (100 % human and 100 % divine)–this is known as the Incarnation. The council also declared the concept of the Trinity—that there is one God in 3 persons–the Father, Son/Jesus and Holy Spirit. Each of these is fully God alone, and despite there being three, Christians declare themselves to be fully monotheistic (the Incarnation and Trinity are the mysterious explanation for God that Christians have adopted. As with other faiths, trying to put into words that which cannot be fully explained in words!).

* There are 3 major branches of Christianity…be sure to see in the textbook what makes each of them distinctive. The Orthodox and Roman Catholic branches have both been around since the beginning of the faith (they were united until a split in 1054), and the Protestant Reformation led to the third branch beginning in 1517.
Catholics are the largest of the three, while Protestants are the largest in the United States.
Marcus Borg was one of the leading scholars on the life of the historical Jesus. These two videos give an academic view of the Resurrection and its meaning in people’s lives, whether you believe in a literal empty tomb or not (these are two videos making up a complete statement from Borg from a debate…a bit longer than the other videos but worth a listen. )
