write Secondary Postings (i.e. “Participation postings”) are postings to peers or instructors, writing homework help

I want you to write Secondary Postings (i.e. “Participation postings”) are postings to peers or instructors. These postings are 50‐100 words, posted on time and show initiative, critical thinking and are a substantial contribution to the discussion. These can be postings in agreement/ disagreement with a peer, personal examples of the topic being discussed or any other bit of information that is relevant to the course and contributes to the conversation being held. Watch that all of your postings are not opinion diatribes without backing up your points using peer reviewed material, the text or other reputable source.

I want to read this paragraph and write argument and citation and reference you can use from the book or other sources and please use ( I ) like I think, I agree because ….. write like I am write this thing.

I will send you the chapter from the book

the first paragraph:

This is a large question to tackle. I have talked to my husband about this class and it has changed hisperspective. Apparently, my graduation gift will no longer be a sports car to prevent me from a large speeding ticket!!! In reality however, this class has confirmed that I enjoy clear situations usually described as “black and white”. When presented with a situation that would be considered a “gray” area, I take time to evaluate both sides with in-depth reflection and research before taking a strong stance. A few people in my life has suggested I pursue my law degree. Going through the ethics scenarios has really fired me up and made me realize that maybe a law degree is in my future. Overall, I have learned what my responsibilities are as a future BCBA. It is my responsibility to know the code and keep up with any changes/modifications with the code. While my perspective of behavior analysis has not necessarily changed, my respect for the professionals in this field has grown. I will be proud to call myself a future professional in this field, as I know that we are responsible for ourselves (as a group) and we hold ourselves and each other to high standards with the goal of providing the best interventions and treatments for our clients.

the second paragraph:

I think the biggest thing for me that I take away from this class, is by adopting the systems of ethical code training and management as prescribed from the Ethics for Behavior Analyst book, I will ensure that as a BCBA I am providing the best quality treatment possible for my clients (Bailey & Burch, 2016). With the ethic code systems of internal monitoring, I feel will help prevent a BCBA from taking on more clients then they can handle or clients that are beyond their experience level. I also feel by following and meeting the ethical code for BCBA ensures that I am always putting the client’s best interest first in regards to adequate services, professional conduct and a client’s privacy. As stated from the Ethics for Behavior Analyst book, a BCBA first priority is “doing no harm” (Bailey & Burch, 2016, p. 15). By adopting ethical code training and management as a BCBA I also feel it protects an individual from getting into an unethical situation that could potentially turn into a legality issue. In addition, I have learned from this class just how important it is to select a good ethical supervisor for my BCBA supervisor and not just the most convenient or available. Another aspect that I greatly appreciate learning from the book and will keep with me as an ethical tool is the “Seven-Step Model” (Bailey & Burch, 2016, p. 36). I find this to be a very practical guide in how to navigate ethical situations that are complex and require special considerations. Overall, via having this ethical class and training I feel I am better equipped to handle any ethical dilemma that may arise in a BCBA job or any related career field.

essays 600-700 words

This past week we have been focusing on gender. Gender is a fundamental

social division. All around us we see differences between men and women
(and girls and boys). The way they dress. The activities they engage in.
What they say. What they want out of life. We see gender differences in
the college classroom -- who tends to major in what subjects? We see
gender differences at the workplace -- who tends to hold positions of
power and authority? We see gender differences in the home -- who tends
to do the majority of housework? These social arrangements, which create
and sustain gender differences, end up having powerful effects on the
lifestyles and life chances of individuals.
This week, you will have two possible essays to write. You must choose
one of them. Below I describe the requirements for each essay.

Visual Reflection Essay

ESSAY 1: PERSONAL RESPONSE TO VISUAL

Purpose: To write a personal response to a photograph of your own choosing. Take your time in selecting a photograph that resonates with you. It may make you laugh, feel troubled, or even angry. It should not be something you have little feeling for or reaction to or something cliche we’ve all seen a million times.

Task: You will find a photograph, either of your own or from somewhere online and write a personal response to it.

Audience: Your audience for this essay is your classmates, your teacher, and other faculty and students.

Important Features:

  • Have well-supported reasons for your claims about the picture – provide evidence (details from the photograph).
  • Include a thesis statement that clearly communicates what you believe the photograph is arguing/the feeling it perpetuates.
  • Make sure to consider differing opinions your readers may hold—is there an obvious interpretation of the photograph that you think your audience may see but that you feel doesn’t go deep enough or is actually not the true “meaning” you see based on evidence from the picture?
  • Include a properly formatted reference for the photograph on a references page at the end of your paper, along with any other sources you might use. You should never use the dictionary in papers like these, and of course, Wikipedia and all other forms of user-contributed content sites or blogs.

Format Requirements:

  • 1500 words. Essays should be typed, double spaced, 1” default margins, Times New Roman font size 12
  • Follow APA format for title page, running head, and references page
  • Final drafts will be submitted online in the turn-it-in dropbox by the due date.

Before you begin to write, take some time to think about the following:

  1. What is the “big idea”/theme of this visual? Does the picture make an argument and/or communicate a feeling? If you answer “no” to these two questions, find a new picture.
  2. Which details in the visual support and create the theme and feelings generated? Be specific.

Your response to the picture should have an engaging introduction, a clear thesis, and a body that makes claims relating to that thesis and backs them up with proof from the picture or thoughts from your own life that relate, etc.

This is a personal response; no research is required, though you may research the photographer or circumstance of the photograph if you feel it will help strengthen your claim about the visual’s argument/purpose or the feelings it evokes. But ask yourself, “Does the backstory contribute to my response or am I just “tacking it on” to get to my word count?

ece351 week 3 discussion 1 RESPONSE s.o., Psychology homework help

In your response, ask your classmates’ questions regarding their beliefs about play and/or clarifying questions about their cultural experiences. You are encouraged to be culturally sensitive in your responses, as this discussion is an opportunity to show that you value and respect diversity and are sensitive to cultural differences. 5 sentences or more.

Week 3 Discussion 1-Cultural Variations and Beliefs about Play

The two cultural groups I chose are European Americans and Asian Indians.

Compare and Contrast

The similarities of the two groups are that they both speak mostly English; their children learn that there are different classes among them all, and both cultures accept the western medicine. Their differences are:

European American children are taught independence and self-reliance. They are also taught self-expression and how to assert themselves. Their primary religion is Christianity and a lot of their meals lack vitamins.

Asian Indian children are interdependent and are expected to respect authority. Their primary religion is Hinduism and unlike the European Americans their meals consist of a lot of herbs and seasonings.

Impact cultural norms can have on play

Anticipated impacts cultural norms can have on play can vary depending if the child’s culture reinforces or restricts play. A culture’s biases or unbiased also affect how children play. Culture and ethnicity impact language and cognitive development as it relates to play in an important way. There is a cultural tendency of many families with Asian backgrounds to perceive child’s play as a subject in itself rather than as a means for supporting academic experiences.

As families interact with their children, they are teaching the children about their cultural beliefs, values, and behaviors (Mashinot, 2008). I do believe that children can learn from each other through cross-cultural play; some children learn to become more independent through playing while other children learn to explore more through play. My understanding of culture has been expanded by explaining how classrooms need to have toys, books, and displays from various cultures so that the children in the class will benefit from these materials and help children to be more accepting of others.

Summarize your beliefs about play cross-culturally. How has your understanding of culture been “expanded” by this week’s course content?

Schools are more diverse in today’s society. Through critical, self-reflexive practices, and our teaching; we are working against bias, cultural, and linguistic differences by creating a classroom where the teacher and children are learning to use language and literacy in positive ways. I believe that the differences in play that exist cross-culturally can be important in teaching us the effects they have on the children. A lot of cultures put more responsibilities on their children rather than having them play. All cultures believe in different things. I think my understanding of culture has been expanded in the sense that I will try to incorporate the different aspects of play that I learned from reading this week’s materials. I think all the different cultures have valuable ideas.
